Wally has experienced significant adversity by being in a motorbike accident at start of 2015. This ordeal caused him be knocked out for 3 weeks, suffer a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) which ultimately resulted in being completely half paralysed
As a result from this suffering, Wally has forced him to see life in a different light and to push forward in living as much of a normal life as anyone else. Mental health strategies are discussed throughout his speech on how anyone can use their resilience to get further in life and for it to be more fulfilled.
Wally shows his light hearted approach towards life and how he always chooses to live a happy life after all he has been through
