In Vero’s talk, ‘Fearless ’, she shares her own personal story: how the timid, isolated kid had a near-death experience that released her from fear, and set her on the path to taking challenges that would otherwise have been beyond her wildest dreams.
She talks about how letting go of fear is the key to true achievement – whatever your goal. Her story reaches far beyond running, and explains how each and every one of us can set ourselves free from fear, and face and overcome our challenges.
Vero speaks to leaders, to teams, to the fearful, to the bold – and everyone leaves the experience the better for it.
All proceeds from Veronique’s speaking go to Run4Humanity .

Vero's Biography
Vero developed a strong passion for writing at an early age. Pursuing this passion for the written word, Veronique worked as a journalist for over 15 years and also completed a Masters in Business Administration before leaving to travel to the most exotic parts of the world. After years of hard work, Vero wrote and published her first book in 2022: Fearless: One Woman's Transformative Journey from Treadmill to Running the African Continent. Her ultra running journey didn't begin until the second half of her life. In running, she found a sport that brought out the best in her. Her achievements in ultra running gave her the privilege of becoming one of the best female athletes in South East Asia. She has won races ranging from 100 miles to 444 kilometres, as well as an incredible 3010km self-supported run across Japan in 72 days. Vero believes that the only way to truly thrive and live a meaningful life is to strive to achieve goals that are bigger than yourself. That's why Veronique founded 'Run4Humanity', a non-profit organization with a mission to change the world by bringing clean, safe water to remote parts of the planet that don't have access to it, one kms at a time, through ultra-running. Vero will be running in the Indigenous community in Australia to provide clean and safe water, as well as providing fresh water to the entire country of Fiji. Vero is on a quest to become the first woman in the man's world of ultra-marathon running to cross the entire Africa Continent from north to south, from Cairo to Cape Town (that's more than 13,000km of running), where she will bring clean and safe water to remote parts of the world that don't have access to it. Together, let's change the world by providing clean and safe water to remote parts of the world, 1km at a time!

Technical equipment (microphone), computer equipment and presentation set up will ideally be provided by the organizer. If we could sell copies of my book on a kiosk/ table during the event, this would be greatly appreciated. Travel and accommodation arrangements for the talks should be discussed before the event.

For corporate organization, we can separately discuss a combination that includes a corporate workshop (values/change/results based management workshop from 1/2 day to 2-3 day workshop) combined with a key note speech.
