Tom Booth (Solo or Duo)

Tom Booth is a local Hobart musician who has been performing at pubs and bars around Tasmania for over 13 years. His setlist covers a range of popular acoustic and rock music from as early as the 60’s through to more modern tracks. He incorporates a loop station into his live setup to offer a greater depth to the performance.

Nikayla and Tom are an exciting new duo to emerge in 2024, performing acoustic cover songs at venues around the Hobart area. Both halves of this duo come with over a decade of performance history from their own solo endeavors, with Nikayla also drawing on her experience as a member of VIXXIN, an all female rock cover band and the Royal Australian Navy Band. This collaboration offers a fresh and captivating performance, with Nikayla skillfully playing the keys and providing mesmerizing vocals, while Tom showcases his versatility by mastering the guitar, delivering soulful vocals, and innovatively using a loop station to create live percussive sounds and rhythms. Their music is a fusion of melodious vocal harmonies and inventive ideas to reproduce your favourite songs, creating an immersive and memorable listening experience. Nikayla & Tom have a shared passion for creating music that resonates with a diverse range of audiences.

At least one reliable power point is required to run all of my equipment. Assuming the area is relatively easily accessible, one hour is generally plenty of time to set up.
