Timbres perform a wide variety of music that suits any audience and every occasion. From 1950’s Rock & Roll, Motown, 60’s pop to classics from the 70’s and 80’s through to today’s current hits and Top 40. Timbres are one of the most versatile acts around and can also play an acoustic style repertoire in addition to delivering an upbeat rock performance.
For special occasions we can learn a request, provided we are happy that we can do it justice. Quality backing tracks are used in our performance, and enhanced by a professional P.A. system and lights.
Both members of Timbres also belong to full bands. Rebecca (Cracked Pepper) and Michael (Liam Blunts Funky Rhythm Train and Sweet Buzz) have performed for years and have the experience you'd expect from established musicians.

The duo requires one standard power point and a 3m x 3m minimum space.
Depending on the occasion, it takes about a 60 - 90 minutes to set up and 30 minutes to pack up.

Each wedding, birthday and function is different, so quotations are provided depending on performance hours and travel.
Prices include our performance fee, travel, public liability insurance and sound/lights production.
Generally we perform 3 or 4 sets of music depending on the occasion.
For a wedding we are happy to perform a request provided we feel we can do the song justice.
In between our music sets we can supply background music. An MC (or speeches) wireless microphone is also available for use.
