Sydney’s classic bar band, The Pragmatics have been delivering four-part harmonies and dancefloor drenched rock shows to thousands of people since 2014. They have played corporate events, charity gigs, weddings, birthdays, town halls, pubs, bars, theatres, beer festivals, boats, back alleys, backyards, carparks and a basketball arena. Their ticketed shows almost invariably sell out. Why? The Pragmatics present a show that is tight, not slick. Authentic, not a replica. Jagged edges and ragged glory. It’s the real deal.

Song-wise, our set list continues to evolve (you can find out more on the About tab of our Facebook Page) and we are happy to work with the client to tailor setlists to their event.
Clients can either choose some songs or structure entire sets based on our available numbers, or have us put suggested song lists forward.
Band Format options: (A) 4-piece classic rock band, (B) 5-piece with keyboards, (C) 7-piece with the horns and/or strings - at varying prices.
Additionally, we can accommodate a solo acoustic format for the early cocktail sets.
The Pragmatics can also provide quotes for production – including stage, sound, lighting and marquee if this is not already covered by the event team.
Public Liability insurance (PS07120) - can supply a certificate of currency on request.
