Gowrie Gals are a popular act specialising in tight three-part vocal harmonies inspired by troop entertainers of WW2. Costumed and choreographed, this highly entertaining trio have entertained thousands across the Darling Downs since 2023. Music drawn largely from the 1940's (with a few more modern pieces thrown in for fun) and inspired by the work of the Andrew's Sisters, Boswell Sisters and the Chordettes. Gowrie Gals are available for an engaging one-hour show or as a roaming act where we interact with guests. Backed by live musicians available in a format to suit the event and budget.

We are true entertainers and love engaging with your audience. Often people want to have photos with us and sometimes they join in on our songs. The act is suited to family events, vintage events, retirement homes, and events and venues related to transport, military and history. We love to ride trains, and hang around planes and vintage cars. A classy, fun, vintage act with personality and flair. Happy to travel. Backing musicians include a guitarist at a minimum, and where it can be accommodated in budget, we also have a fantastic violin player and a double bass player.

Depends on the event. We're pretty flexible.
Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Bei Mir Bis Du Schoen, Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree, Shoo Shoo Baby, Seven Bridge Rd, Bye Bye love, Mr Sandman and more.
We have enough material for a one hour show. We can also cycle through the material for a two or three hour roaming gig and an event. Where more than one hour of material is needed we work with another band to offer sufficient for the event.
