When you book The Buzz, you aren't just hiring a cover band—you’re bringing a high-energy, nostalgic concert experience straight to your event. Here is what you and your guests can look forward to:

The Buzz is completely self-contained and ready to rock. We bring our own professional backline instruments, amplifiers, and performance gear. Depending on your venue's existing setup, we can adapt to supply the full sound system or plug directly into a house setup.
Here is what we need to deliver the perfect show:
• Performance Space (Stage): A minimum area of 16ft wide x 12ft deep (approx. 5m x 4m) to comfortably accommodate our 5-piece lineup (drums, keys/guitars, and three front-line guitarists/singers).
• Power Supply: At least two independent 15-20 amp circuits (standard wall outlets) dedicated solely to the band's amplifiers, instruments, and PA gear to prevent tripped breakers.
• Setup & Soundcheck Time: We require access to the performance area 90 to 120 minutes before guests arrive to load in, set up gear, and run a proper soundcheck.
• Production Options (PA System):
• Option A (Preferred for Pubs/Private Halls): We provide our own PA system suitable for small-to-medium rooms (up to 150-200 guests), including vocal microphones, main speakers, and stage monitors.
• Option B (For larger festivals/corporate stages): We plug our gear and microphones directly into the venue's house sound system and dedicated sound engineer.

Insurance & Permits Policy
To ensure a smooth, worry-free event, The Buzz operates under a strict "Performers Only" safety and compliance policy. Because local council ordinances, public property rules, and venue requirements vary significantly by location, the event organizer (the client) is solely responsible for obtaining and managing all necessary event permits and venue permissions.
The division of requirements is outlined below:
📋 What the Client/Venue Must Organize
• Noise & Council Permits: The client must secure any required local council permits, especially for outdoor backyard parties, marquee events, or public park gatherings. This includes adhering to local noise curfews (typically 10:00 PM or 11:00 PM depending on the council area).
• Venue Approvals: The client must confirm that the venue explicitly permits live amplified bands, has adequate performance space, and possesses sufficient electrical infrastructure to support the band's equipment.
• Public Liability Insurance (PLI) for the Event: While individual venues usually carry their own property insurance, if you are hosting a private event on public land, a street closure, or a rented community hall, the client must arrange any required event-specific public liability or host insurance.
• APRA / AMCOS Licensing: For public venues, festivals, or commercial spaces, the venue or organizer must ensure their licensing is up to date for live music performance. (Note: Private backyard parties and private family functions generally do not require music performance licenses).

• Electrical Equipment Safety (Test & Tag): All amplifiers, PA systems, extensions, and power boards brought on-site by The Buzz are professionally checked, tested, and tagged for safe performance compliance.
• Safe Setup & Logistics: We take full responsibility for setting up our backline safely, keeping cables taped down or neatly routed to prevent trip hazards within our designated performance area.
