The T-Bar Cruisers is an experienced 5 piece electric band that plays good time music.
We play a mix of rollicking piano, wailing harmonica, jazzy guitar backed by a rhythm section that delivers foot-stomping and danceable grooves. Two vocalists range individual songs from growling blues to warm, mellow tones.
Over time, the fruits of the blues have extended the band's influences to include jazz, jump blues, rock ‘n’ roll, rockabilly, swing and soul. Grooves include jump blues, latin-based rhumbas, shuffles, swing and rock/pop beats.
We will customise a song list to play good time music to enhance your special event. Perhaps you saw us play at the Mar-25 Bangalow Markets ?

You can expect to receive good time music with foot-stomping danceable grooves played by experienced mature age musicians. The band members comprise :-
• Pat Breen (electric piano, harmonica and lead vocals)
• Murray Hand (harmonica and lead vocals)
• Rob Anderson (electric guitar)
• Glen Whitehurst (electric bass and backing vocals)
• Peter Burge (acoustic 4-piece drumset and backing vocals)
The T-Bar Cruisers enjoy our own spontaneous take on things. No matter what song we play, it evolves and comes out in a good but different way, the “T-Bar” way. Simply, we call it good time music.
We can customise set times and performance length to suit your requirements. Normally, three (3) hour long sets would involve at least 45 minutes playing time per hour.
Being a professional band, we turn up on time, have good equipment and play good time music sober !
These are the categories of entertainment or other services offered by T-Bar Cruisers .
The band requires a covered stage large enough to house five musicians including electric piano and acoustic drumset. We have our own public address (PA) system and basic lighting which caters for most events up to 200 guests. If using your PA, we require 12 channels and at least two foldback monitors to go with your front of house (FOH) speakers. We require 240 volt electrical mains power with general power outlets (GPO's) sufficient to energise the PA system and four amplifiers. If in doubt, please confirm the requirements with the band at the time of making the booking.
The band requires at least one (1) hour prior to starting time to set up our equipment and make the necessary checks.

We can customise a set list of good time music to help make your event a success. If necessary, we will even learn a song or two which is particularly special to you.

The T-Bar Cruisers is available as a 5 piece electric band. The agreed base price includes the supply of all necessary musical equipment, PA system and lighting, travel and at least two and one quarter (2.25) hours of playing in three (3) sets over three (3) hours. Normally, 25 to 30 songs will be played. An additional two hundred dollars ($200) per hour is charged for extra sets up to a maximum of a total of three (3) hours performing. Payment terms are cash on delivery of performance. Cancellation fees may apply and, if applicable, will be set out in the Performance Agreement.
The band has public liability insurance cover.
