Ras Minano hails from Ghana West Africa where he formed The Hope of Africa Band in 2006.
Now living in Adelaide, Ras Minano and The Hope of Africa Band perform original Reggae, Afrobeats & World music compositions with a line up of talented and high energy Adelaide musicians.
In 2020 Ras song 'Africa Oseeyeii' was awarded USA WAM Song of the Year Award World Music/Reggae category.
An absolute crowd pleaser, the band delivers original, high energy, conscious music and features a horn section, african drum and percussion section and a beautiful mix of harmonising vocals.
