A teacher with 40 years experience and co-author of the book " Being a Successful Teenager", Dean introduces success ideas for upper primary and high school. students. Through the toughest years of their lives, Dean offers practical ideas of how to deal with: being fit to live; your best attitude; being open-minded; setting and getting your goals; winning the school game; making it in a money world; being cool; thinking about your values; finding time for the important things; keeping it clean; sexuality and love; doing unto others (community service); team sports,; dealing with "oldies" and building a fantastic family.

Dean will engage the crowd with personal stories and lessons to open the minds of teenagers. Dean has been an educator for 40 years and spoken in Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia on goal-setting and success principals.
With co-author Steve Wright, they set out to write a book that taught the skills and principles that aren't taught in school.
Dean's life experiences have given him a handle on how to deal with many of live's issues. Dean played WAFL football, represented his state in Masters' football, coached junior and community football teams, ran an international business, worked as the National Sales Manager for an international health company, was a Lead Organiser for a Union and has taught every age level from pre-primary to Year 12. His greatest success is helping to raise a family.
Most recently Dean has been a teacher at an Aboriginal College and been lead singer for one of Perth's most popular cover bands, The Time Doctors.
