Hi, I'm Paul!
I am a photographer who specialises in events photography, and anything where I can capture those "in-between" moments as they naturally occur.
From family gatherings to couples, pets, live music and events, I am here to capture your magical moments one frame at a time.
Part of the thrill of working with people is that I always expect the unexpected. People have their own organic ways of bonding with family, friends and colleagues. I enjoy photographing these kindred moments as they unfold, so that my clients have memories that they can keep forever.
These are the categories of entertainment or other services offered by Paul Burke Photography.
Flash photography may be used in circumstances where lighting is less than ideal and where I have to photograph groups of people. Please let me know if you have concerns with this, or additional requirements.
When shooting weddings and events, I ask that master of ceremonies/event host clearly requests attendees to refrain from using their phones to take photos. This can ruin important moments.
Where performers are concerned, I like to have set lists sent to me prior to the event. Please include links to you repertoire where possible.
Why?
I am a musician myself, so I understand that there may be sacred moments where the photographer must avoid being "caught in the cross fire."
One example is if you have any ballads in your set. I need to ensure I activate silent shutter to prevent arrhythmic camera clicks ruining the moment for the audience.
