As a midwife, author, podcast host, and advocate, I speak for those on the frontlines of maternity care. With 25+ years in public, private, and homebirth settings, I share with humour and raw honesty the emotional toll of this work—vicarious trauma, system fatigue, and the silent cost midwives carry. Midwife Crisis: From Trust to Trauma—and the podcast of the same name—gives voice to stories rarely told. My presentations are heartfelt, real, and deeply human—offering connection, reflection, and hope for those navigating burnout, regulation, and the weight of care.

Expect truth. Expect heart. Expect the kind of conversation that cuts through the noise and speaks to the soul of the work we do.

I bring over two decades of lived experience in midwifery—spanning hospitals, homebirths, education, and advocacy—and I’m not afraid to talk about the parts of the job that are often left in the shadows: burnout, trauma, moral distress, and the emotional weight midwives and healthcare professionals carry.

You can expect a speaker who is raw, real, and relatable. Someone who will make you laugh, reflect, maybe even cry—but more importantly, someone who will leave you feeling seen, heard, and a little less alone.

I don’t just speak to the profession. I speak for it.
