MJ entered the professional music scene at the age of 17, on a government sponsored tour of the West Coast. Whilst overseas, MJ entered a BBC talent search competition placing in the top three and subsequently getting some radio air play.
After travelling the world, MJ returned to Perth where she showcased her vocal versatility working in Jazz, Pop, Rock, Acoustic and Tribute bands, working alongside people such as Johnny Young. MJ has been part of the support act for Shannon Noll and has been on Telethon. She has worked at many high profile venues such as Crown Perth, The Quarry Amphitheatre and Optus Stadium. She has also recently worked with Perth Symphony Orchestra.
