MERLIN is an experienced solo artist (singer/lead guitarist) available for private functions, weddings and corporate events, Taverns, Hotels on the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Northern NSW . Known as "The Ultimate One Man Band!" with over 30 years of experience as a professional musician ...including: solo, Duo , original & covers bands, backed high profile artists and performed in many Tribute Shows . He is one of Queensland's busiest, experienced and hard working musicians around. Willing to travel up to 300kms to perform "Merlin" enjoys taking his brand of Classic Rock to the people.

MERLIN is musician with a difference because unlike most solo artists…he sounds like a full band playing lead, rhythm, slide guitars. Using professionally made high quality audio backing tracks with full instrumentation, backing vocals and real drums, which create an authentic full band sound to enhance songs as close to the original recording as possible has enabled MERLIN to be dubbed"The Ultimate One Man Band".....to put it simply , more bang for your money.
MERLIN performs a 3-4 hour show with three 15 minute set breaks! I'm very flexible and can cater to your needs....whatever they may be....I have played 2,3 ,4 & even5 hour shows in the past depending on the event or the clients needs. Volume is not a concern because I can control performance sound levels.....that is without being ridiculous of course!
Book MERLIN and you get a professional, visually stunning stage set up with personalized Banner....Special effects (Laser and Led party lights) , and depending on the occasion ...a larger Light rig with chaser with many colour programs and settings....or a basic Led and flood lights for smaller venues.
*I also play special occasions , Australia Day, Halloween, Fri 13th, Anzac Day etc…and theme the set list and visuals to fit in…(I have a lot of props left over from my Tribute Shows….)
*All promotional items/posters can be personalized to suit the venue and occasion.
*I also have all my electrical leads & equipment tagged & tested (I’m an ex electrician)
As a performer MERLIN is second to none : professional , experienced, courteous, consistent, talented, thoughtful and humble. He enjoys playing music to people of all ages and is booked in major cities/towns, but is also prepared to travel to play country venues where people may not always have the opportunity to see someone like MERLIN perform .
