I've hosted more than 500 events over 8 years, from weddings and corporate events to festivals, trivia and karaoke, for clients including Red Bull, Merivale, GABS and Matso's.
I believe every room deserves a different approach. I don't bring the same energy to every event because no two crowds are the same. My process is always the same though: find out what the client wants, read the room, and give that room what it needs. Whether that's lifting the energy or simply helping it along.
The best events are the ones where people feel like they're part of something - that's what I try to create. Because the best hosts don't perform to a room. They connect with it.
