We are a high energy original HipHop/Rock duo. We released our debut EP, Grey Area, in 2019 to critical acclaim and have built an underground following in Sydney. Light from a Stranger is a collaboration between two best mates and the chemistry on stage is immediately apparent. We approach live performance with the intention of immersive crowd engagement with the topical issues we cover in our music including relationships and love, social issues, and just good old fun and having a good time ✌️We have played many reputable venues in Sydney

Duo includes singer/rapper MC Connect and singer/rapper/professional beatboxer Jyder
We perform all original music and can perform up to one and half hours (not including breaks). We can also do DJ sets between our live sets to entertain for as long as you like.
If you’d like more of a live instrument vibe, we have a drummer who can back us for additional charge.
