I like to arrive to each gig with time to spare beforehand, so I have a chance to get to know the hosts and any specific preferences they may have for the night. Throughout the event, I will read the room and energy level - keeping things more relaxed and mellow as your guests settle in, and more upbeat later in the night when people are ready to get up and dance. After, I will be out of your hair quickly!
