Each member of Liam Blunts Funky Rhythm Train is a professional musician that brings their own special magic to the overall sound created & all love a good time & of course GREAT MUSIC.
With decades of experience, the band always ensures a fun & exciting atmosphere, catering for the audience by providing a dynamic combination.
R&B, Funk, Soul, Rock, Top 40, Pop, Jazz, Latin . . . you name it Liam Blunts Funky Rhythm Train play it!
Most importantly we are 100% live. No backing tracks or sequences, unlike some other "live" bands. What you see and hear on stage is being created live by the band.

5 PIECE COVER BAND- Playing crowd favourites guaranteed to get your family and friends on the dance floor. Comprising female lead vocals, 2 guitarists, bass/lead vocals/keyboards and drums/lead vocals, makes this band one of the most versatile in the area. The band's instrumentation is sufficient to cover just about anything you could wish for in a great night's entertainment. This established line-up has been together for over 10 years.

9 PIECE COVERS/JAZZ/LATIN BAND- This line up has a 4-piece horn section added to the above 5-piece band for an amazing big sound and even a greater variety of music. Imagine trumpet, alto and tenor saxophones and trombone creating a wall of sound to some of the greatest funk, soul and pop tunes you have ever heard. The band also does some of its own original arrangements of well known crowd favourites.

Prices for each band (fees subject to change due to personalised quotes for each event/venue/distance being negotiated) include -
Production sound & lights, travel, insurance and for large public events our own sound engineer.
We can provide our own 6m x 3m gazebo for shelter if needed. This is suitable only if the weather is agreeable!
Power must be available and one standard 10amp 240v is all that is required. If possible on a separate circuit to other electrical items.
For performances that require a generator, one must be used that can provide adequate power for the band.

We are happy to learn a song of your choice for a bridal dance or any other particular party requests you have at no extra charge, as long as we feel we can do it justice! If it is unsuitable for the band to play, then we have a mp3 music player available.
Although based in Wangaratta, the band has performed as far away as Echuca, Cobram, Culcairn, Mitta Mitta, Gippsland and Coldstream. A package can be negotiated for up to 300km from Wangaratta. Accommodation may also be required in some circumstances.
