What do you get when a rogue gypsy jazz guitarist and a classically-trained cellist fall in love, then make music? The answer, of course, lies in the alluring and unforgettable tunes of Le Nuvole. Bringing Italian, Brazilian and Irish heritage together, the music of Mircha Mangiacotti and Emma Hales journeys between nostalgia, charm and achingly beautiful repertoire.
With a style and class all their own, the duo works together writing original music, arranging traditional tunes and re-working timeless classics. Guitarist Mircha effortlessly switches between Bossa, folk and jazz styles while cellist Emma explores the range and versatility of her cello. Their ability to play a variety of upbeat, sublime and favourite songs with dynamic instrumentation will leave you wondering why you haven’t heard them before.
