Hi, I'm a solo sax player who plays cover jazz, blues, rock and pop songs. I can bring my own professional sound equipment to your venue and perform a customiseable set list, perfect for your event. The advantage of having a solo sax player is that I do not involve the large amounts of people that come with hiring a full jazz band and can give a more intimate jazz experience to your guests. This is perfect for relaxed evenings for your restaurant, lobby, pub, or wedding, (with the option to move into more energetic pop songs towards the end of the night).
Depending on what you need for your event, I also play alongside DJs .
Elizabeth's Wedding in Burleigh Heads , Jan 2020
Jake played the saxophone at our wedding and was absolutely INCREDIBLE. He jammed over dance music and had the whole crowd up and dancing. My only regret is I should have had him play for longer!
Jody's Community Event in Highfields, Apr 2018
Awesome performance thank you Jake
I aim to be extremely convenient to the booker, all I need is access to mains power, and a 3x3m area to set up in. I will provide my own professional sound equipment and stage lighting (if called for).
I can play a variety of music from different genres depending on what kind of atmosphere you are after for your event. I can also add particular songs upon request to an event's setlist. Below is a small list of examples from a general set containing a variety of genres.
-georgia on my mind, fly me to the moon, L.O.V.E, moon river, killing me softly, I remember clifford, summertime, cry me a river, autumn leaves
Samba Pa Ti, Peter Gunn Theme, the wanderer,
rather be, someone like you, if I ain't got you, rolling in the deep, unchained melody, careless whisper, baker street, jubel (klingande)
-I am currently holding public liability insurance as a musical performer.
-for education or related functions, I currently hold a working with children card.
