When you hire me, you aren’t just booking a guy to hold a microphone; you’re booking a live-television producer and director to manage the flow, the energy, and the logistics of your entire event. I treat your function like a live broadcast—smooth, perfectly timed, and highly engaging.
Here's how it will look:
• The Pre-Production Phase (Planning):
We will jump on a call or meet up to run through your vision, the vibe you want to achieve, and the key moments of the event. I’ll look over your timeline and help you iron out any kinks. Because I write scripts for a living, I can help fine-tune any specific announcements or cues to make sure they hit perfectly.
• The "Behind-the-Scenes" Coordination:
Before the event kicks off, I will touch base with your venue coordinator, the DJ or band, the caterers, and your photographers. I make sure everyone is working off the same script so you don't have to spend your night playing middleman.
• Zero Travel Stress:
Whether your event is in Sydney, the Blue Mountains, or Newcastle, I won't charge you a thing for travel or accomodation. I will arrive at your venue early to test the sound, check the stage layout, and make sure everything is locked and loaded well before your guests walk through the door.
• Showtime (Live & Unscripted):
Once the event starts, my focus is entirely on reading the room. I will handle the formal, structured moments with total poise, but I excel at staying flexible. If the kitchen falls 15 minutes behind, or a speaker goes over time, I will pivot on the fly to keep the crowd entertained and the momentum moving without anyone noticing a thing.
• No "Star of the Show" Ego:
I am there to make your event shine and ensure your guests have an unforgettable time. I keep the energy warm, the transitions snappy, and the atmosphere exactly where it needs to be—whether that’s sharp and corporate or loose and fun. No-one should remember me after the event, they should remember how brilliant your event felt!
All I need is a microphone. If needed, I can arrange a PA system for you and bring it along on the day. This will only cost you the hire fee from the supplier.
I don't charge any travel or accomodation fees for events within the Blue Mountains, Sydney or Newcastle regions.
Because I do this for the love of it, I structure my pricing around the specific needs of your event. I dare say I will be a lot cheaper then what you are expecting :)
