The Hint of Swing Big Band is an 18 piece ensemble, guaranteed to take you back to the fabulous golden age of music and dance. The Gold Coast based big band will transport you in time through a repertoire of jazz standards, Latin, American Songbook, swing and blues. Male and/or female vocal arrangements are also available on request. Musical Director, Ivan Cocking, is a highly accomplished musician and band leader. During his time in the military, Ivan was a band master and music director of several Regular Army bands. He has played for international artists such as Shirley Bassie, Roy Orbison, Helen Shapiro and Eartha Kitt. Hint of Swing is available for both public and private functions.
