The Show
Happy Singing Kids performs homegrown songs that you’ll love to sing - they’re a little bit different! The show “Uh oh Spaghetti-oh!” features its creator - local musician and mother Susanna O’Leary performing a collection of original music inspired by everyday life experiences with her own children.
Designed with children in mind, the performance is filled with easy to follow dance moves and catchy lyrics that talk about life, feelings, and what to do when a bull ant bites your bum! Nominated for three Queensland Music Awards (2021,2022 and 2023) and featured on ABC kids listen, “Uh oh Spaghetti-oh!” is sure to bring out a bunch of Happy Singing Kids.
Susanna or ‘Susie’ as she likes to be called, plays the ukulele, tin whistle and sings along to some of her recorded tracks to give a vibrant and full band appeal. Her natural exuberance and kid-like self creates a potent creative space for all ages.

Percussive Play: Watch your child's rhythm skills flourish as they explore a variety of percussive instruments and learn basic rhythms. Our hands-on approach encourages kids to play along to the beat of popular songs, fostering their musical development and coordination.
Reading through Singing Time: Sing, move, and learn with our interactive reading sessions! We bring well-known books and nursery rhymes to life through engaging sing-alongs and expressive movement, enhancing your child's literacy and language skills while having a blast.
Musical Performance: Experience the joy of performing with original music from Happy Singing Kids! Our lively sessions encourage children to sing and dance to captivating tunes, boosting their confidence and creativity.

These are the categories of entertainment or other services offered by Happy Singing Kids.
This show can be scaled to be performed in a small or large space depending on the amount of children attending. In smaller spaces the show can be performed acoustically to minimise noise levels for young ears. This also keeps the bump in and bump out process quick (only 6 mins).
For larger venue spaces the show can be performed with a PA system and should be presented on stage to allow audiences to follow and participate with the dance moves.

Standard fee per show is $350 which includes the performance, travel time (up to 1hr), bump in & bump out and access to a speaker or PA if required
Fees will lessen incrementally. A $50 travel fee will be deducted on subsequent performances booked for the same day*. Further discounts will be given and negotiated when more than two performances are booked in one day. A day rate may also be negotiated between the performer and booking agent.
*subsequent performances and workshops must be scheduled within a two hour bracket to receive the discounted rate unless a day rate is negotiated
* Additional performers and/or increased travel times may incur additional fees.
