I am an author, guest speaker, and I also facilitate in place workshops. The themes that I cover are broad, in depth and relevant to my own personal life experiences.. Some sessions that I have been asked to speak about are - mental health, carer wellbeing, domestic violence, parenting / large families, aging, and homelessness. These themes are also vividly characterized throughout the many chapters of my book - 'Escape to Wood shine'. This book is a contemporary fiction novel that reflects on matters of: family violence, parenting, LGBTQI, addiction, aging, poverty, wellbeing and death (to name some). Please contact me for more succinct details.

Sharonb's Corporate Event in Online via microsoft teams, Jun 2025

Debra's talk was honest, raw and inspiring. We have had all positive feedback from our network and Debra's talk was the highlight of our Pride month celebrations.

I am a professional and mature woman who has a strong presence. When presenting I will speak clearly and without using excessive slang, swearing or discriminatory language. I am always punctual, well presented and my focus is primarily based on the experiences that I've met during my own life time. For example: I will speak about my newly published book, my marital breakdowns, raising my seven children alone, the death of an adult child, losing a house in a fire, and various other topics.

When speaking to a large audience I will probably need to be raised on some sort of platform, so that I can be easily seen. I have a strong voice but I do not own a microphone and this would be useful. A white board would also be useful depending on the type of event you’re after. NB: If you do consider me for your event please tell me your decision to continue with me or not as quickly as possible.

Small group readings, chats, general conversations and question / answer session.
In-depth speaking role to a larger audience on themes relevant to the organisation, question and answer session around my book and experiences.
Prescribed workshop using speech, art / craft, role plays and more. E.g. group sessions around family violence, homelessness, etc
