Going Down Leg

Based on a lifelong friendship and a shared love of great music, Going Down Leg is the passion project of Adam and Dylan.
The duo first met more than 25 years ago playing junior cricket and quickly became great mates. While they spent plenty of Saturdays chasing a cricket ball around the field, they eventually discovered that playing music and sharing a few beers was even more enjoyable.
Together, Adam (lead vocals and guitar) and Dylan (lead guitar) create a surprisingly huge sound for just two musicians, combining acoustic and electric guitars with live percussion to keep the energy high from the first song to the last.
Musically, the duo has something for everyone. Adam grew up on The Beatles, Crowded House and Fleetwood Mac, while Dylan's playlist leans more towards AC/DC, The Eagles, Van Halen, The Fretsliders and The Living End. Together, they cover everything from timeless classics to modern favourites—and if you throw them a request, there's a fair chance they'll know it.
Between them they've performed on some of Australia's biggest stages, including the St Kilda Festival, Australian Open, Sunbury Music Festival, Frankston Waterfront Festival and The Connor's Run Finish Line Party. But ask either of them their favourite gigs and they'll tell you it's the local pubs and clubs where everyone sings along, has a laugh and feels like part of the show.
Speaking of singing along... if you hear someone mention "The Medley," you're in for a treat. Every night it changes, every night it's slightly chaotic, and every night it somehow turns into a 15 to 25-minute celebration of some of the biggest sing-alongs ever written. It has become the band's trademark finale—and one of the biggest talking points after every show.
Audience participation is highly encouraged too. Tambourines and egg shakers are handed out throughout the night, so don't be surprised if you find yourself becoming an honorary member of the band.
Most importantly, Adam and Dylan love meeting new people. Whether it's a quick chat between sets, talking music, sharing a beer or hearing a story from the day on the mountain, they're always happy to make new mates.

We have all our own PA equipment and Dylan has a Certificate IV in Sound Engineering. So we are able to adapt to any in house system or bring our own high quality equipment.

Our favorite's? Well we love playing 90's and 2000s!!

As well as performing as a duo we also offer a 3 or 4 piece band performance, which uses electric drums to make it suitable for any room.
