Gallus are a ceilidh band like no other in WA. We are a high energy, kick in the pants ceilidh band who mash traditional music with rock, dance and funk tunes and get you ceilidh dancing to the lot.
With half the band steeped in traditional music and the other half contemporary, the explosion of energy has to be experienced. Pipes, fiddles, whistles, electric guitar, keyboards and drums we will get your party going. You’ll not want to sit down all night!
We call all the dances, so don’t worry if you are not familiar with them all yourself. We’ll have you stripping the willow in no time!

We are happy to tailor what we do to suit your day. Most often we play two, one hour sets jam packed full of all your favourite ceilidh dances like The Gay Gordon’s, Dashing White Sergeant and Strip the Willow.
We mash traditional music with sections from songs by Avicii, Faithless, The White Stripes, AC/DC, Guns n Roses, Franz Ferdinand and many more. High energy fun is the focus of our performance and we’ll make sure your party r wedding goes with a bang and is talked about long after!
