Don’s Party features four original members of R.D.O., one of Melbourne’s hottest cover bands from the late ’80s. After a 30-year break (and a few beers), we decided to dust off the old gear—and surprisingly, the magic was still there. What began as a casual jam quickly turned into a full reunion. With the addition of powerhouse vocalists Craig and Gabrielle, we’ve hit the ground running, belting out classic rock duets and party hits from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s. Don’s Party is fast building a reputation as Melbourne’s go-to band for a great night out.

This band knows exactly how to bring the party. With a lineup of seasoned musicians who cut their teeth in the original pub rock scene, Don’s Party delivers tight, high-energy sets filled with the songs you grew up with—and probably shouted at the top of your lungs in a bar at some point.
Expect a killer mix of classic rock hits, Aussie pub anthems, and unforgettable duets from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s. Think Cold Chisel, Fleetwood Mac, INXS, The Divinyls, Neil Diamond, Tina Turner and all those legendary tunes you didn’t realise you missed until you hear them done just right.
Fronted by Craig Smith and Gabrielle Parbo, whose vocal chemistry is electric, the band serves up some of the greatest rock duets ever written—raw, powerful, and full of energy. These two light up the stage with charisma, blending powerful harmonies and crowd-pleasing banter like they were born for it.
Behind them is a rock-solid lineup of veteran players who bring decades of experience and groove. These are musicians who play with heart, humour, and the kind of polish that only comes with time (and a few stories to tell).
