David McCrystal: A Versatile Celtic Entertainer. Born in Glasgow to Irish and Scottish parents, he migrated to Australia in 1970 for the vast sum of £10. As ALF, he entertained at Brisbane's Britannia Inn for over a decade. Then for 20 years, he wowed audiences as Dave the Pianoman on cruise ships worldwide. Recently, he has been showcasing his skills in vocals, guitar, keyboard and banjo with Brisbane bands Blarneystone and West Texas Crude and now enjoys playing solo all genres especially Celtic Punk music around Australia's east coast. With his dynamic presence and unique fusion of Celtic melodies and punk/rock influences, David continues to captivate audiences countrywide.
