I draw while chatting and joking with your guests, helping create a relaxed and entertaining experience.
Caricatures are quick, engaging and easy to enjoy, making them a great addition to weddings, birthdays, corporate events, product launches and other special occasions.
My style is generally fun and flattering, with a fairly mild approach unless someone asks me to turn it up a notch.

We hired Dan to entertain our guests at our wedding after the ceremony while group photos were happening. The drawings doubled up as everyone’s take home gift. He was outstanding and captivated everyone’s attention, getting to know everyone while he was drawing. He worked so hard to get through as many people as possible, he didn’t stop! We asked him to be brutal with his drawings (to match our sense of humour) and he did not disappoint. We missed out on getting our own portrait done as we wanted to prioritise our guests , and he has offered to draw us if we send him a photo from our wedding day. Legend.

I arrive 15-30 minutes prior to start time to set up and get acquainted with the space.
Allow 5 minutes per person for black and white sketches.
if additional time is required and my schedule permits you may request this.
I will then pack down my set-up and leave you to enjoy the rest of your event with wonderful memories.

requirements are fairly minimal all I need is a space to set up in good lighting, if digital drawing access to power required. 3 chairs and a table of some sort.
I can arrange for specialised paper on request - eg for weddings the date and names printed on card that I then draw upon for your guests.
a specialised image of the main event holder (wedding party, birthday boy/girl etc) can be arranged prior to event also.
