Comedian/Trivia Host/MC

We hired Dan as our host based on his promotional materials as a comedian and trivia host/mc, as well as several positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations. Despite receiving event detailed in advance, Dan was largely disengaged during the event. Rather than taking initiative or energizing the crowd, he waited for direction from us at nearly every step. This lack of proactivity was especially disappointing given the interactive nature of the event and the significant effort we put into planning it. To make matters worse, Dan left the venue before the event concluded in order to attend another engagement. Overall, the experience fell short of what was promised and promoted. While Dan appeared primarily focused on ensuring prompt payment, we were hoping for a professional who would prioritize delivering a memorable and engaging event. We feel it’s important to share this experience so others can make a more informed decision.

Dan was great on the night! He could sense the vibe and know if a break was or wasn’t needed, very adaptable. He was friendly and quick to respond from the beginning.
