Cinnamon Sun (FKA Davy Simony) is a Cairns based multi-instrumentalist Reggae/Indie/Hip-hop/Alt-pop musician. With a captivating presence and heartfelt style of songwriting, his live performances are not to be missed: boasting the powerful energy of a ‘one-man-band,’ Davy takes to guitar, vocals, synth, foot percussion and live looping.

With a massive repertoire that spans many genres and decades, Davy is the perfect musician for any occasion — ranging from wedding ceremony aisle-walk, to high-energy dance-party! When performing a cover gig, he mixes it up between the old-school classics and the more modern hits to please the entire crowd. For some tracks, he'll put his own unique spin on them to create a refreshing rendition. He has a great intuition for reading the crowd and picking the best songs to suit the vibe of each moment.

Davy is a full-time musician, and has been for the past eleven years. Apart from weddings, and regular cover gigs, Davy writes and releases his own music. He has toured the world (solo and with a band), played countless festival shows, receives regular spins on Triple J, has accumulated over half a million streams on Spotify, and has played alongside artists such as Tash Sultana, Cat Empire, and Daryl Braithwaite.
