Welcome to the wonderful world of BONSAI and BOUNCE!

BONSAI (trio) and BOUNCE (full band) are made up of some of the most experienced young musicians in Melbourne's cover band industry, with the aim to provide a unique experience that can cater to almost any setting.

BONSAI and BOUNCE pride themselves on their professionalism and their "no matter what it takes" attitude to satisfying their audiences, while also creating a fun and memorable experience for everyone to enjoy.

The band bring a comprehensive show to all performances, encouraging sing-a-longs and requests, always ensuring a top quality performance, and that the crowd are fully involved and eager for more. If you after a party, we will bring it! If you want chilled out tunes or dinner music, no problem!

BONSAI/BOUNCE has performed together over 1000 times across a career spanning more than 10 years, and have also been a part of some of Melbourne's biggest cover band names including:

NITRO;
HIGHRISE; and
THE EGO HAS LANDED.

BONSAI and BOUNCE has proven experience, having worked at weddings, corporate and private functions as well as regularly in pubs and clubs for more than ten years. The band is flexible enough to cater to almost any setting, for any purpose, in any venue.

With a very extensive songlist, BONSAI and BOUNCE are also open to any special requests you may have for your occasion and are more than happy to learn specific songs too.

We ask that we are covered (where necessary), have easy access to power, and have a minimum of 90minutes to load in and set up.


We have a very extensive song list, spanning the 1960's to 2010's.
Our repertoire is always growing, and one of the parts of our packages is that we offer to learn special/specific requested songs (within reason) at no extra cost for your wedding/event.
We specialize in laid back dinner music, party music (especially from the 60's-80's, to keep your guests dancing!) and pub classics.


- Wedding Reception package starts at $1900 (trio) and $2400 (full band)
- Wedding Reception + Ceremony package starts at $2100 for trio (assuming ceremony is held at the same venue as reception) and $2600 for full band
- Private Function, Events and Pub gigs start at $1000 (by negotiation)
