Astro Blue

A lively 5 piece band that plays a vibrant mix of blues, soul and funk music.
Perfect for something a bit different at your corporate event, festival or big celebration. Both atmospheric and groove driven. Fun and funky.
We are experienced in the formats of functions and festivals and will communicate and focus on achieving your goals for your special event.
We conduct ourselves professionally in every aspect including reliability, punctuality and presentation. With Astro Blue on board a fun and memorable evening is highly likely.

We will require:
1. A reasonable performance space (with stage and p.a.) but protected from the weather with options for alternative location where weather becomes an issue.
A space or stage size of 5m sq. minimum would be practical for us.
2.Power will be required for amplification. (We can sometimes organise a generator easily for an extra fee).
3. Reasonable Access and Parking. So that we are set up on time and without stress to perform well for you.
4. Catering: It is common practice that the band is catered for at functions and all we ask is a basic meal or fingerfoods and a drink. We are also happy to spend a bit of time prior to the occassion answering questions or discussion the schedule and other logistics by email or phone.
5. Travel Expense Allowance: For regional and interstate performances. Happy to liason regarding arrangements.

Most has been carefully selected from blues, soul and funk music of the late 60s to the 90s.
Coming from artist such as B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Albert King, Luther Johnson, Little Milton and Mel Brown.

The basic fee listed here is for up to 2 60min. sets over a 3 hour period. I.e. - 7-10, 8-11p.m. or 11 a.m. - 2p.m. We are happy to discuss other time structures.
These prices apply to Metropolitan Melbourne but please inquire if your location is not far beyond that. Interstate or International - please inquire for costs.

Certificates of insurance (indemnity, public liability) are available and are through "Duck For Cover" (Allianz).
