Allan Watts Blues Band are a hard hitting, imperfectly refined and impressively professional Texas blues band. Hailing from Bega, the industry experienced trio are fronted by Lead guitarist and vocalist Allan Watts (The Blue Ruins). Allan takes centre stage to showcase intricate, melodic, riff heavy electric guitar that marries seamlessly to his punchy and emotive vocals.
Held together by seasoned session drummer John ‘Trappa’ Trevena with a lifetime of national and international tours tucked into his back pocket and local legend Steve Gordan sending out a full bodied,bold bass slap to keep the crowd moving.

Allan Watts Blues Band are a hard hitting, imperfectly refined and impressively professional three-piece Texas blues band. Hailing from the South Coast of NSW, the industry experienced trio are fronted by Lead guitarist and vocalist Allan Watts (The Blue Ruins, Where’s Texas). Allan takes centre stage to showcase intricate, melodic, riff heavy electric guitar that marries seamlessly to his punchy and emotive vocals. Coming off the back of a decade-long touring career as lead guitarist and co-manager of local favourites, The Blue Ruins, Allan has spent two years creating an energising and exciting show for blues and rock enthusiasts to experience.
Seasoned session drummer John ‘Trappa’ Trevena holds it all together both on the drums and through his comical one liner banter to the audience. With a lifetime of national and international tours tucked into his back pocket, Trappa hits with his own style and flair that never misses a beat.
Local legend Steve Gordan sends out a full bodied and bold bass slap to keep the toes tapping. After years of playing endless shows with local cover band Endangered Species, Steve has developed a funky, groove based style to get people off their seats and onto the dance floor.
The trio will see out 2022 playing local gigs on the South Coast and working on new material set for release in 2023.
Allan Watts Blues Band will be touring local South Coast venues throughout 2022 before hitting the festival and touring circuit for 2023.
