Alexis Star is a soulful acoustic singer-songwriter and cover artist. Her musical influences include Eva Cassidy, Missy Higgins, Matchbox 20, Kurt Nilsen, and Jason Mraz. Alexis performs her own versions of folk/pop/rock hits from the 50s till now, along with her own uplifting and motivational original music.
Alexis Star has over a decade of full-time music industry experience as an entertainer in Sydney, NSW. She converted to van life in 2018 and has been touring around Australia, playing festivals, events, and gigs where the wind blows, ever since.

Alexis Star was incredible, her vocal range was very impressive, and she was extremely versatile. We gave her a list of strictly 90s/early 2000s music, and she absolutely killed it. Her postive and warm energy was contagious, and many of our guests commented on how much they were enjoying the vibe throughout the night. Thanks for making my 30th a night to remember!

Alexis Star will contact you via email with a booking sheet to be filled out and returned to her at your earliest convenience, along with an invoice with the remaining payment due prior to the event date.
The balance for each invoice is due 10 days before the performance date.
You can expect a night of seamless music appropriate for the occasion, the perfect volume, and completely customizable to suit your event needs. Star is extremely professional and attentive to the sound. She will ensure the setup is optimal for the room and will endeavor to keep the levels perfect throughout the evening, with room to adjust according to the energy of the room as the night progresses.
Alexis is a down to earth musician, she takes pride in her appearance but does not 'put on a face' for show. What you see is what you get. If you're seeking authenticity, look no further. Alexis doesn't wear makeup and often dresses in a comfortable bohemian style, she also loves to perform barefoot, so if this is a problem for you or your guests, please make your events dress code known during the booking process.
Alexis is a reliable, punctual, meticulous, and a pleasure to work with as she is empathetic in nature, and always goes above and beyond for each of her clients.
Alexis will travel long distances for gigs but will quote to cover expenses, accommodation if required, and travel time where travel exceeds 111km from her current location.
