Aden and Simon were absolutely fantastic right for the point of engagement to the end of the night. I had a backyard party and they were very accomodating. Aden and Simon were great to deal with leading up to the event with regular communications. They were professional and required minimum assistance with set up which made it easier for me. Music set list was extensive. I would not hesitate to recommend them for future events.

Aden and Simon where just perfect for Dads 90th birthday event @ an aged care home in front of Oldies, family and youngies, they played a mixture of songs that pleased everyone. It was difficult to find a duo that played old school songs (Doris Day, Ella Fitzgerald etc) Thankyou very much, you guys were amazing and well priced. We definitely be using you again. Regards Sue

Simon & Aden played for us at the 2023 Adelaide Marathon Running Festival as one of the bands out on course entertaining the runners. Although I did not get to hear them personally, we had good report backs from those that did. Thanks. Hope to have you back next year.

Simon and Aden were fantastic, they flawlessly performed a wide range of songs that appealed to all ages. They even quickly personalised a version of Mustang Sally for the Birthday Boy based on what they heard minutes before in the speeches, very clever !! Simon and Aden were very friendly and fitted in so well that they appeared to be good friends or family. We highly recommend them and look forward to an opportunity to have them perform again for us in the future. Nice work guys !!!

I booked Simon and Aden as our entertainment for a cafe style social group and we were blown away! Our people absolutely loved the music that they tailored to the audience and their musicianship is superb! As a duo, they compliment each other so well with Aden's fantastic vocals (and guitar) and Simon on guitar. They are true performers - interacting with the crowd and understanding the personnel. Simon & Aden were wonderful! Not only did they save my skin when they were able to play at my corporate event with little notice (thanks to another musician dropping out), but they played the perfect music for the room and were able to 'role with the punches' when there were changes to the order of the evening. Great musicians, great guys.

Something Blue played at our son's 30th birthday party yesterday and were fantastic. From our first contact with Simon and Jamie they took the time to understand what we wanted and how we envisaged the event. We held it at the Murray Delta Juke Joint which is a genuine music venue and we wanted a quality band to make the most of the venue, and we got exactly that. They had the crowd dancing and Jamie's voice was sensational. We would happily recommend them.

I could not be more grateful to Simon and Jaymi for making our Anniversary so special, It is something we will remember for the rest of our lives. They are absolutely wonderful people and even better musicians. The music was wonderful and they have such a wonderful connection. Thank you to you both, we are so grateful. xx

I hired Something Blue for a house party. I have to say that they went above and beyond! I was incredibly impressed with their music, professionalism, thoughtfulness and efficiency in organising and performing at our event. I can certainly recommend them. We had shopped around, but found other duos were either very expensive or incredibly cheap, and in either case we couldn’t be sure of the quality of services that would be provided. We found Something Blue were very reasonably priced and were fantastic from start to finish. We also felt very confident from their audio visual material, and other information provided, that we would receive a high quality service. They certainly did not disappoint! Before our event, they made sure to meet with us to find out what we wanted and communicated how they could make our event as effortless and fun as possible. On the night Something Blue played a vast array of songs and catered to everyone’s musical tastes - even though there was a wide age group present. Their stunning sound, interesting musical arrangements, Simon’s guitar playing and Jaymi’s beautiful voice were highlights of the night! Everybody loved them! Thank you so much!

Simon and Jaymi were absolutely amazing at our engagement party. They catered all our needs, stayed in contact in the lead up and ensured we were happy with song choices/sets etc. They took all the hard work off us regarding music and keeping people entertained, which they did! I hired Something Blue to play for a housewarming party and they were simply fantastic! I could not recommend more. Getting a band to play at a function/party is not just about wanting great music, ideally you want them to be professional, great communicators, non-intrusive when setting up equipment, friendly, polite and accommodating… Simply Blue was all this and more!
