Our name come comes from a common traditional Gaelic phrase, "A chuisle mo chroí," meaning pulse of my heart. We are a Traditional Irish music band, playing Irish traditional tunes such as jigs, reels, & slides. It's the style of music you have played in a session around a table in an Irish pub, though whilst we can play it like that, we also do it through a PA system as a band on stage. I think it's also helpful to say what we don't do, as that helps you to select a band more accurately for what your vision is. We don't sing Irish songs such as The star of the county Down or songs by The Pogues. We play instrumental music, not songs.

Dana's Private Party in Ballarat, Oct 2025

Being new Crowdpleaser, they did not have reivews over even a video, but I took the risk was was rewarded many times over. The event was a family/friends party and the three musicians fit in like part of the group and placed wonderful Irish music. They were warm and welcoming, and were happy to chat with anyone from aged 5 to 85 at the party. I could not recommend them more and would be pleased to have them back at future events.

If you're not sure of what we mean regarding the type of music we play, then we suggest perhaps looking at some Youtube footage. There is a good Youtube channel that showcases a lot of different performances, very much in a similar vein to what we do ourselves. You can type Livetrad into a Google search, and you'll find this channel very easily. We'll get some of our own footage in the near future, but we just wanted to at least get this profile live for now!

We have a small PA system & gear, but if using your own set-up we require 4 microphones (preferably 3 x Shure SM57 & 1 x SM58) & stands, front of house speakers and at least two foldback speakers, as well as armless chairs. We would also require your microphone leads and two guitar leads.
